Because I was employed in the Target shop as a customer advocate, I was given an RedCard during the last few years. The purpose was to assist my boss, however after a while, as I pay for it using the card, I have noticed that it helped my credit immensely. It is now clear that, as of late, Politics has gotten involved with Target which is why I don't need it anymore. However since I know that it could hurt my credit to get rid of it. I'll let it go away due to the absence of usage and put it in my credit report for another 10 years.
